Sona Masoori raw rice is small in size and its richness is proven after it has been cooked. Raw rice is extremely healthy food due to its high carbohydrate content. Our Indian rice is 100% healthy and natural because it is strictly cultivated in the renowned farmhouses. Processing begins with removal of husks from rough or paddy rice leaving a brown rice kernel. This is followed by the milling or drying process; wherein cracks are caused in rice kernel usually by moisture that migrates at a fast pace within the rice kernel. This results in the rapid pace of the milling or drying process leading to white rice kernel breaking down and eventually elimination of the rice’s husk, bran and germ. At the end of the process, the rice is polished, resulting in a seed with a bright, white, shine with its own flavour, texture and appearance. The processing procedure helps to prevent spoilage and extend the storage life of the packaged white rice.
